Collins Building & Civil Engineering Ltd was appointed by Limerick City & County Council to construct the new Adare Visitor and Heritage Centre — a landmark civic facility designed to reflect the architectural heritage of the village while serving the needs of both locals and tourists.

Scope of Works

  • Architectural Construction
Delivered in collaboration with Brady Shipman Martin Architects, the building integrates traditional materials including natural stonework, slate roofing, and dashed render to echo Adare’s historic charm.
  • Full Interior Fit-Out
Completed fit-out of multiple public-use spaces including:

    • Retail Units
    • Tourist Office
    • Restaurant
    • Meeting Rooms
    • Public Library
  • External Works & Parking Infrastructure
Developed substantial rear parking areas with direct access from Station Road, enhancing visitor accessibility while maintaining traffic flow.

A Hub for Culture and Community
